A Higher Level Apprenticeship is a two step process. First of all you need a job with a company. Secondly you need to be enrolled on a Higher Level Apprenticeship course at your local college.
Our applications for 2020 closed on March 31st, 2020. But recruitment needs change, and we may find other opportunities before the Higher Level Apprenticeship course starts in September. Click here to register your interest. We’ll contact you if new opportunities open up.
The detailed steps below will let you know what to expect from your application through to beginning your career in computing:

If we secure new Apprenticeship opportunities, we’ll contact you and ask you for your CV. We’ll pass your CV to your potential employer
You may be invited to a job interview where you'll get the chance to explain why you'd like to become a CareerEncode Apprentice.
If you are successful, an employer may offer you a job subject to conditions, e.g. that you get the necessary grades. With uncertainty around exams this summer, we will follow Ulster University policies on grades and results.
Your Higher Level Apprenticeship with your employer will be confirmed subject to you achieving Ulster University entry criteria for your Higher Level Apprenticeship course.
